MEMS (Michelin Earthmover Management System)

In an ongoing project for Michelin, Raster Vision has the exclusive contract to develop, manufacture and provide support for the MEMS Tyre Pressure Monitoring System for earthmoving trucks in mines worldwide.

The electronic tag located in each tyre monitors the tyre pressure and temperature at regular intervals and alerts a control centre when either measurement reaches a predefined level. The data can be viewed anywhere in the world and facilitates huge cost savings by prolonging the life of tyres and minimising downtime in the mines.

Raster Vision was selected by Michelin nearly a decade ago as its design and manufacturing teams possessed the technical skills and experience to deliver their requirements on time and on budget. Today we are proud to be still working closely with Michelin to develop the project for their future needs.

Vogon (Video Overlay Generator)

The Vogon is a multipurpose Video Overlay Generator suitable for use in many applications, ranging from video inspection systems to surveillance systems.

This product was designed entirely in-house, and is built in our own manufacturing department.

FeederMaster

The FeederMaster is a calibration and test jig for pick and place machine feeders. This is an ongoing project that we work on for AdoptSMT, and makes use of a customised version of our video overlay hardware.

Contract Assembly and Prototypes

We also provide a range of manufacturing services for customers with an existing product or design. The DMX-TRI is an RDM lighting controller from JESE, for which we provided the surface-mount PCB assembly.
